Unforgettable Journey - Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple

Its been almost 7 months since I have written my last Journey as a traveler. With lots of hitches, finally we packed our bags with a pair of shoes and crystal clear vision to reach a secluded, unspoilt and peaceful but holy place called "Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple".

Journey Itinerary:

Faridabad --> Delhi --> Noida --> Meerut --> Mavana -->  Bijnour --> Najibabad --> Kotdwara --> Lansdowne --> Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple

Journey:

Journey was started early in the morning and so does our battle against traffic, loud horns, noisy roads and big city buildings till we reached a place called "Meerut". We were well planned to take a route via Mavana to Kotdwara as this is the best route for any traveler (As suggested by one of my friend Sameer Tyagi). The huge fields of Sugarcane, Bananas, Mango trees and lush green wheat fields were welcoming us. The beauty and freshness was getting better and better as we were approaching towards our destination. We faced some challenges as we reached Najibabad but as said "no pain no gain". With lots of struggle finally we crossed Najibabad and reached Kotawara. We were not having any clue about the surprises we were about to get after Kotawara. The roads were amazing, the air was so fresh to beat your all stress, the tree were shining like stars, the sun light was like a sheet of gold on the soil and the atmosphere was crystal clear to give utmost satisfaction to highly synthetic life. The drive till Lansdowne was about 40KM's from Kotdwara but that was a life time experience. It was getting darker and we stayed overnight near to Lansdowne to get ready for next day adventure.

Day 2 started with a heaven like drive of 39 KM's from Lansdowne to Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple, words are not enough to express the beauty our eyes have captured for lifetime. The drive was one of the best drive in mountains I have ever done. All zig-zag ways, ups and downs, one mountain, then another then another and so on...our body and soul was playinh hide and seek with clouds, big gaint like trees were telling there stories and you were so close to the nature that you want to live each and every moment there. Its was simply amazing. Then we reached Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple right in the middle of Jungle, surrounded by thousands of trees and mountains. It was believed that demon "Tarkasur" worshiped Lord Shiva for years at this location and Lord Shiva appeared at this location in front of Tarkasur. Since then this place is one of the holy shrine for Lord Shiva Devotes. This place is so calm that anyone can do meditation for years in the lap of nature. The positive vibes at this location charge your soul with the high pluses. We spent some time there and started our journey back to the town and finally to the hotel.

Early next morning we saw the Sun Rise and packed our bags for the return journey. The short but memorable journey gave us such an incredible experience that will live in heart forever.

Places to Visit in Lansdowne:

Tip & Top (for beautiful valley view), Bhulla Tal Lake (artificial lake maintained by Indian Army for boating and spending some quality time), Local Market.

Why this T-SHIRT???...

When you have all brands “Nike, Adidas, Puma, Reebok, UCB, FCUK, LP etc” in your wardrobe, then why do you wear this old t-shirt at night since ages?... A very meaningful question asked. A white color t-shirt (little dull now), with many flecks on it, been there since almost last two decades now. And the most important part is it was not purchased, it was given to me by someone, may be we can call it a second hand t-shirt which have been used by someone else in the past. But what it’s doing with me since ages, though I can have much Superior, Expensive, Attractive clothes now then why this t-shirt?..

Looks strange, itn’t?.. This obvious question forced me to dive back into my old priceless memories, when I was a “Big Zero” with even “Big Dreams and Hopes”. All I had was a heart full of dreams, hands full of gestures, eyes full of colors, pockets full of hopes, legs full of strength, brain full of vision and above that stomach full of hunger. What I had with me at that time was few friends (many of them are strangers now), a super caring Mother, few books and clothes. This t-shirt was one of those priceless things I had, its full of optimism, my best friend in days and nights, in ups and downs, my strength in bad times, my strong vision in good times, my love in darkness and my enemy in struggling time. It never ever left me alone and neither do I.
"Find your "dream" then RISK everything to make it Reality"
Sometimes when you are completely down in your own world, what will do you?.. You will try to get in touch with your loved ones who motivates you, who inspires you, who banks on you and who supports you. But what when you are completely broken, hopeless, alone??.. At that time you will not understand anything as you are in a state of great depression, pessimist and then you are your own doctor, your own caretaker, you own lover and your own future creator. Mind my words at that time “dive into your past, remember all those things which you have achieved with your hard work, with your master mind, with your crystal clear vision” and things like t-shirts, pens, journals, old serials, old movies, old friends, old roads, old tea shops, long walking, old school, teachers or anything (every one have that one thing precious from childhood, close..very close to the heart) will pull you out of the worst time, depression. “Past is always beautiful, how struggling it would have been at that time but in present you will always love your past”. Presenting t-shirt here is just an example to have something in your life which will remind you about your best and toughest “YOU”, Always remember "The best thing about You is Always You".. When you did it in past you have all the guts to achieve more and more in present!...Never ever “Give UP”. Treat yourself in the best possible ways as you are going to be your best friend forever!...

Final Conversation between “a Father and a Son”.

Final Conversation between “a Father and a Son”.

In a bright morning, Sun was about to shower its rays when a “Boy” was born in a family of well reputed ‘Doctors”. All were happy to see the new “Life” in the family. Time passed like a speed of light, the boy was full of energy, best in every field. A top ranker in academics, one of the best in rugby, confident speaker and a lovable son.

He decided to give an “Army Exam” and wanted to serve his Nation. Without the knowledge of his parents he cleared the exam and asked his parents to allow him to join Army Services. His parents allowed him to live his dreams. Years passed, he used to come at home once or twice at maximum to visit home.

At the age of 24, he came back to home on a leave of 30 days. All were happy and enjoying each and every bit of his presence.

Here rang a phone, the father lifted the call and passed the phone to Son. Room was alone with father and son. Complete silence and the last conversation of a father and a son started.

Boy said in confident voice, dad I have to go to the base camp tomorrow morning. Out of nowhere the heart of a father said “please don’t go” stay with us as we are getting older and getting very much worried about you. We can’t afford to lose you as you are the only hope for us. The boy replied “dad you are wearing a White dress to save patients, this is your duty and you are serving it with full grace since ages. In similar way I have my duties for my dress which I wore years back. My duties are to save my nation till my last breath and I have to do that at any cost”. The conversation went on and on before father said “If you want to go then go, but you have to promise me that you will come back and we will have a rugby match together”. The Son instantly said “Off course Dad” I will come back and will defeat you again.

In the early morning the boy left to serve his nation with his duties. After 5 days again phone rang and the saddest news arrived “Major has been martyrdom”. Father stood in shock and was not believe what he heard. Mother came out and took the phone and heard the same words. Silence!!!... The only light of their home is off forever.

It’s been years now and the father is having anger just anger on his mouth, my son was a liar. He promised me to come back and he did not keep his words. He is still in hope for his son’s return…
This is what “Army Men” sacrifices. Their life, their hopes, their home, their relations, their parents and their dreams.

This is a true story of an Indian Army Man. This is the price of wars and distractions!... Think about this father who is still waiting for his son's arrival.

Stop fighting please, spread the lesson of peace. Every one will suffer because of wars and fights!...

Missile Man: Late Sh. A.P.J Abdul Kalam: "Padam Bhushan, Padam Vibhushan, Bharat Ratan!"

“We are all born with a divine fire in us, our efforts should be to give wings to this fire” - Late Sh. A.P.J Abdul Kalam - "Padam Bhushan, Padam Vibhushan, Bharat Ratan!"

What else would be the best way to end an year with the autobiography of a great soul Dr./Scientist late Sh. Adbul Kalam Sir. Finally little library of my knowledge is studded with the words and lessons of this great unique personality, India (our nation) have ever produced. Dr. Adbul Kalam is a statue of simplicity, knowledge, civility, altruistic, love and respect – A true Scientist who gave everything he has for his nation and its welfare.

Born and brought up in a very poor family, lifted himself up in education with his hardwork and dedication, completed Aeronautical Engineering from Bangalore and converted his dreams into reality by producing N no. of missiles, satellites which can fly like a bird in an open sky and in fact way beyond the sky.

Served ISRO for almost 2 decades, made every Indian proud with his inventions (ex: SLV-3, first Indian satellite Launch Vehicle) and work in Satellite Technology and that too in the era when the information was less readily available with limited resources. Amongst few Indian who have been nominated to take space research training from NASA, still always stayed rooted to ground.

With the knowledge and leadership qualities this great personality possessed, was requested to make a move in DRDO and make Indian Forces a great power in the world with rocketry and space technology. The move was challenging and tough, but the success stories are well written with Golden words in world’s history today – Prithiv, Agni, Nag, Trishul, PSLV (Polar Satelite Launch Vehicle), Pokhran-2 tests etc are some of the achievements which makes every Indian Proud. We are in amongst top 5 nations to achieve these success stairs because of people like Dr. Abdul Sir, who gave their everything for the success stories they have created from the path of big failures but never gave up for the next generation to treat them as a benchmark.

A great leader who always lead his team with perfect balance of hands-on and hands-off approach which he himself have described in the book. I remember some of the beautiful quotes “bread baked without love is a bitter bread, that feeds but half a man's hunger. In a similar way the work done by half heart is just a half work done.” You can’t achieve success until you dream it and burn yourself completely to achieve it with full heart.

The last few lines which took anyone’s heart away are:

“This story will end with me, for I have no inheritance in the worldly sense. I have acquired nothing, built nothing, possess nothing - no family, sons or daughters.” I am just a person who knows little bit of Space Technology.

You will remain in our heart forever Sir!. Thank You for your contribution to the success of India in Space/Satellite and Rocketry Engineering.

Gone are the days!!...

Gone are the days…

When the light was bright and the days were great.
When the eyes were up and the shoulders were straight.
When I have done the things which no one have tried.
Gone are the days…when I climbed those heights!!!...

When the time was more and the tasks were less.
When the food was more and the hunger was less.
When I have travelled the miles where no one have stared.
Gone are the days…when I feel those layers!!!...

When the stars were more and the night was less.
When the moon was full and the clouds were less.
When I have dreamed the world which no one have felt.
Gone are the days…where I have spent my best!!!...

Gone are the days…and they are just gone!!...

A voice from Soul: Soul Mate

It’s a cold foggy morning, sun light is not yet visible, silence is still all around. A question popped up, Is this the last day of togetherness!...A susurrate, very susurrate but hollering voice of heart came out “No it can’t be!...How it can be, No It can’t be”…Few seconds passed with vicious feeling before an image of “her” appeared. Same question shouted by her “Is this the last day of togetherness!...”. This time the response didn’t come from heart. Heart was just doing its duty and stood silent link like the most darkest phase of a night. The question went deep inside way beyond the reach of heart, straight to the supreme power, to the last resort of God, to the immortal substance called “Spirit or Soul”.

Surprised or shocked, high or low, happy or sad, up or down, don’t know!

But a voice which was never heard before, very soft, gentle, dulcet like a mellisonant tones appeared from the extreme immortal soul stating “No, the bonding, the love, the attachment, the feeling, the care, the warmth – is inseparable and in-discrete. This body is just the medium but the house is our Soul. How can someone be thrown out of the House of the Soul. No it can’t be!...How it can be, No It can’t be”…

Silence…eyes full of tears, body shivering, voice disappeared. Is this Love?... Free from material world, free from the race of any competition, pure, never ending, rich…. All of a sudden, Image again appeared of “her”. This time it’s my turn to respond. Yes I love you, but not from the body but from the soul – inseparable and in-discrete. For you it may be the last day, but for me it’s always have been the first day!...Shoulders are up, shoulders are down. Image came closer more closer, I can feel the air gap between the image and me. With very slow but confident voice she said “I know, I know No one can love me like that, I know you are the one who is true soul mate, I would like to say not even once but for the lifetime I Love you too”. The last words I have ever heard!...

Imaginations or experience, Love or True Love…Sun light appeared, silent turned into noise. But the heart is happy and saying finally I met her!..."I want you, just you, Nothing else"..

This is the experience you feel when you meet people with no expectations. Those people will stay in your heart and in your soul forever!..Isn’t it hard to find such people, I think yes it’s really hard?.. A question for all. Don’t let such people move out from your life. Keep them preserved!... "Die with Memories, not Dreams".
